Genevieve the protagonist of this story, lives with her father, a widower king and her 11 sisters, all of them messy and noisy, but happy and united by the same passion: dancing. A humble shoemaker visits the palace every day and makes the best dance shoes that no one ever could have done for the girls, but the best and most beautiful shoes are always for Genevieve.

All seems fine inside the castle, until the Duchess Rowena is called by the king to help in the education of the Barbie in the Twelve Dancing Princesses. Rowena comes imposing order and silence, but she want to remove the king and imprison the princesses so she can be the sole ruler of the kingdom.

It all seems to indicate that Rowena’s plan is being perfectly carried out, until the princesses discover a magical world that opens its door when they dance a secret combination. The magical world is discovered by the evil duchess too, and she uses it to lock up Barbie in the 12 Dancing Princesses  for the rest of their life's. Genevieve nothing can do and only have the help of her sisters and the cobbler to escape the prison that Rowena has imposed them.

Barbie as Rapunzel

This beautiful movie will touch deep into your heart and you’ll know the story of this girl named Barbie as Rapunzel.Rapunzel is a young lady with long beautiful hair, who lives locked inside a castle by a wicked witch named Gothel .Barbie as Rapunzel is a prisoner and she only has her two best friends: a bunny and baby dragon, they always encourage Rapunzel to do what she loves the most: to paint. But Gothel disapproves Rapunzel’s hobbies.

Rapunzel’s life is about to change one day, along with her best friends, when she discovers a beautiful comb that has something written on it: a message from her parents. With the comb in her hands,Barbie as Rapunzel gets out of the castle where she was being held captive. She is thrilled to know the world, a beautiful world with castles and princesses! But the evil witch Gothel is coming and Rapunzel must be strong and never give up, she dreams to be free.

However something horrible await her! Gothel curses Rapunzel, but the life has prepare her a big surprise. The young lady and her beautiful hair will be safe when she meets a young boy she had seen before, he turned out to be the Prince Stefan who will fight for her and their love.
